OneCity Technologies Pvt. Ltd builds ecommerce websites in Bangalore from our Rajajinagar office. We develop WooCommerce stores, custom ecommerce platforms and Shopify integrations for businesses across Bangalore and Karnataka that want to sell online with Indian payment gateways, GST compliance and mobile-first design.
Incorporated in 2009 (CIN: U72100KA2009PTC048911) and delivering ecommerce development since 2017, our Bangalore team has built online stores for jewellery businesses, equipment rental companies, retail shops and international clients in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Our Bangalore office holds 38 Google reviews with a 4.9 star rating.
This page has been written and reviewed by L.K. Monu Borkala, founder of OneCity Technologies Pvt. Ltd, in accordance with the March 2026 Spam Update (completed March 25, 2026), the December 2025 Core Update, and the August 2025 Spam Update.
Every package includes mobile-first design, Indian payment gateway integration, GST invoice generation, product catalogue, order management and basic ecommerce SEO.
All prices exclude GST. Hosting separate. AMC from ₹5,000/month. Call +91 99023 30233 for a project quote.
Every ecommerce website we build comes with at least one Indian payment gateway fully integrated and tested. We handle the entire integration including webhook setup, refund flows and GST invoice generation.
UPI, cards, net banking, EMI, wallets, subscriptions. Most commonly used for Bangalore ecommerce. Includes Razorpay Payment Pages and Payment Links where needed.
Cards, EMI, net banking, wallets. Good option for businesses needing detailed transaction reporting and industry-specific compliance (education, healthcare).
UPI, cards, payouts, split payments. Best for marketplace and multi-vendor stores where vendor payouts need to be automated and split at checkout.
High-volume UPI checkout optimisation. For Bangalore ecommerce stores processing 1,000+ transactions per day where checkout speed and UPI success rate matter.
Our primary ecommerce platform for most Bangalore projects. Custom themes, advanced product types (variable, bundled, subscription), Razorpay checkout, GST invoicing, inventory tracking and courier integration (Shiprocket, Delhivery).
Laravel-based custom ecommerce for businesses that have outgrown WooCommerce or need B2B pricing tiers, ERP integration, multi-warehouse management or a checkout flow that WooCommerce cannot support.
Product schema, breadcrumb schema, category page optimisation, meta tags for every product, XML sitemap for products and categories, and Google Merchant Center feed setup. All included in every ecommerce project.
We migrate stores from Shopify, Magento, OpenCart and custom platforms to WooCommerce or our custom PHP platform, preserving product data, customer records, order history and SEO URL mappings.
Automatic GST invoice generation on every order, GST-compliant checkout with GSTIN input for B2B buyers, HSN code mapping for product catalogue and tax reports for monthly filing. Built for Indian businesses.
Shiprocket, Delhivery and Dunzo integrations for automated shipping label generation, tracking updates and delivery notifications. COD reconciliation and return management workflow included on request.
From Karnataka jewellery retailers to international equipment rental companies, our ecommerce builds span multiple categories:
We understand your products, categories, pricing model, target customers, payment preferences and shipping requirements. No charge.
Written proposal with fixed price, feature list, platform recommendation, payment gateway choices, timeline and payment milestones.
Homepage, category page, product page and checkout flow designed in Figma. Mobile-first. Approved before development starts.
Store built, products uploaded (or import tool provided), payment gateway integrated, GST invoice configured, SEO setup, speed optimisation.
Full payment flow tested in sandbox and live mode — success, failure, refund and webhook scenarios. Every gateway goes through this before launch.
Store moved live. Google Search Console and Merchant Center set up. Sitemap submitted. Admin training provided. Login credentials handed over.
We do not just add a Razorpay plugin and call it done. We test every payment scenario — UPI success, card decline, net banking timeout, EMI flow, refund trigger — before handing over. Bengaluru customers expect smooth checkout.
GST invoice generation, GSTIN capture for B2B buyers, HSN code mapping and tax reports are built in as standard. We do not bolt these on later. This matters for Bangalore businesses filing monthly GSTR returns.
Our Bangalore office rating reflects real project outcomes — not aggregator placements. Search “OneCity Technologies Rajajinagar Bangalore” on Google Maps to verify.
Product schema, category schema, breadcrumbs, meta tags and Google Merchant Center feed are part of every ecommerce build. Our clients’ product pages start appearing in Google Shopping without additional spend.
We have built ecommerce stores for clients in Saudi Arabia (Kites Equipment Rentals) and Dubai (Idesignads). Multi-currency, international shipping and cross-border payment setups are within our delivered experience.
CIN: U72100KA2009PTC048911. We issue GST invoices, sign written agreements and have been a registered Private Limited company since 2009. Verifiable on the MCA portal.

India's e-commerce market crossed Rs.5 lakh crore in GMV in FY2024-25 according to DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) data, driven by 300+ million online shoppers. Yet the majority of small and mid-size Indian businesses that launch e-commerce stores see fewer than 10 orders per month — not because their products are poor, but because their stores are built on the wrong platform, load too slowly, lack trust signals, or send buyers to a checkout that fails on mobile. E-commerce website design in Bangalore in 2026 is not about making a product catalogue look nice. It is about building a conversion machine that turns traffic into orders at the lowest possible cost per acquisition.
Google's March 2026 Core Update penalised thin e-commerce category pages without substantive content. India's RBI-mandated 2FA (two-factor authentication) requirements for online payments mean that every Indian e-commerce checkout must handle Razorpay, PayU, or CCAvenue payment flows correctly or lose sales at the payment step. Mobile-first indexing means your product pages are evaluated on mobile performance — a store that looks great on desktop but takes 5 seconds on a 4G connection loses the majority of Indian buyers who will never wait that long.

WooCommerce on WordPress is OneCity's primary e-commerce recommendation for Indian businesses. It integrates natively with Razorpay, PayU, and CCAvenue — India's dominant payment gateways with full UPI, net banking, and EMI support. WooCommerce stores host on Indian servers, giving Core Web Vitals performance that Shopify's US-CDN-first infrastructure cannot match for Indian 4G users. Ownership is complete — no monthly platform fees, no transaction fees beyond payment gateway charges, no risk of platform price increases. WooCommerce is SEO-friendly with full control over schema markup, canonical tags, and sitemap structure — critical for ranking in competitive Bangalore product categories.
Shopify makes sense for Bangalore businesses primarily targeting international buyers (USA, UK, UAE) where Shopify Payments is available and where server proximity to Indian buyers is less relevant. Shopify's inventory management and multi-channel selling (Instagram Shopping, Facebook Shop) are stronger out-of-the-box than WooCommerce. However, Shopify's monthly fees (Rs.2,000-20,000/month depending on plan) and 2% transaction fee on non-Shopify Payments gateways add significant ongoing cost for high-volume Indian stores. Shopify's SEO limitations — forced /collections/ and /products/ URL structures, limited schema control — are a competitive disadvantage in India's Google-dominant search environment.
Custom-built e-commerce is appropriate for large-catalogue businesses (5,000+ SKUs), B2B procurement portals requiring custom pricing and approval workflows, and businesses with complex logistics integrations. Custom builds are significantly more expensive (Rs.5-20 lakh) and slower to launch (3-6 months) than WooCommerce deployments, but offer complete control over performance, security, and business logic. OneCity builds custom e-commerce on Laravel for Bangalore businesses that have genuinely outgrown the capabilities of WooCommerce.

E-commerce SEO in Bangalore is fundamentally different from service business SEO. Product pages compete against Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and Nykaa — platforms with thousands of reviews, massive domain authority, and virtually unlimited content budgets. An independent Bangalore e-commerce store cannot outrank these platforms on generic product queries. The strategy is specificity: winning long-tail queries where your product has unique attributes that mass marketplaces cannot match.
A Bangalore artisan coffee brand selling single-estate Coorg Arabica cannot outrank Amazon for "coffee powder." But it can rank for "coorg single estate arabica coffee online," "natural processed arabica bangalore delivery," and "speciality coffee subscription bangalore" — queries where its product specificity is the competitive moat. This long-tail e-commerce SEO strategy generates lower traffic volume but higher conversion rates (typically 3-5x higher than generic queries) because the buyer is further down the purchase funnel. OneCity builds category and product page SEO strategies for Bangalore e-commerce stores with this specificity approach from launch, not as a retrofit after 12 months of poor generic performance. See our SEO company Bangalore page for the full technical SEO framework applied to all e-commerce builds.
Building on a shared hosting plan: Shared hosting with Rs.100/month plans cannot handle concurrent checkout sessions during sale events. A Bangalore fashion store running a 50% Diwali sale that crashes at 10am on the first day due to shared hosting bandwidth limits loses the highest-revenue day of the year. OneCity deploys all e-commerce builds on SSD VPS hosting with auto-scaling, not shared hosting.
No product schema markup: Product schema (Product, AggregateRating, Offer) is what enables star ratings and pricing to appear in Google search results. Stores without product schema are invisible in Google Shopping and miss rich result click-through rates that are 15-30% higher than plain text listings.
Single payment gateway: Stores with only one payment gateway lose customers when that gateway experiences downtime — which all Indian payment gateways experience periodically. OneCity integrates minimum two payment gateways (typically Razorpay primary + PayU fallback) on all e-commerce builds.
No abandoned cart recovery: 70-85% of Indian e-commerce users who add to cart do not complete purchase. Abandoned cart email sequences and WhatsApp recovery messages recover 15-25% of this abandoned revenue. Not implementing abandoned cart recovery is the most common and most costly e-commerce configuration omission for Bangalore stores.
GST invoice non-compliance: B2B buyers in India require GST-compliant invoices with their GSTIN for input credit claims. A store that cannot generate automated GST invoices loses B2B orders entirely. OneCity implements automated GST invoice generation on all WooCommerce builds from launch.
Fashion and apparel: Size guides, fabric composition descriptions, and 360-degree product photography are conversion essentials. Instagram Shopping integration and influencer collaboration features. COD (cash on delivery) option mandatory — 60%+ of Indian fashion e-commerce orders are COD.
Food and grocery: FSSAI licence number and expiry date display mandatory. Shelf life and ingredient information required. Delivery radius limitations must be implemented at checkout. Temperature-sensitive product shipping notifications. Hyperlocal delivery integration with Dunzo or Swiggy Genie for same-day Bangalore delivery.
Electronics and gadgets: Warranty documentation, service centre locator, and compatibility checker features. EMI options via Razorpay and BajajFinserv mandatory for high-ticket items. GST-compliant invoices with HSN codes for corporate buyers. Comparison table features for competing SKUs.
Handicrafts and artisan products: Story content about artisan and making process builds premium pricing justification. GI tag certification display for protected products. International shipping calculator with Customs and Duties estimation for international buyers. Certificate of authenticity downloadable PDF for premium products. For full digital marketing alongside e-commerce see our digital marketing agency Bangalore page. DPIIT e-commerce data: dpiit.gov.in. Razorpay payment gateway: razorpay.com.
Over 95% of new Indian internet users since 2020 access the internet primarily through smartphones. For a Bangalore e-commerce store, this means the mobile checkout experience is not a secondary concern — it is the primary one. A desktop-first e-commerce design that looks professional on a MacBook but requires pinch-zooming on a Redmi phone loses the majority of Indian buyers at the browsing stage before they even reach the cart.
OneCity builds all e-commerce stores mobile-first. This means: single-column product layouts that render cleanly on 360px screens, tap targets minimum 48px height for all buttons and product images, sticky WhatsApp CTA in the mobile viewport for instant buyer queries, one-click UPI payment options (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) displayed prominently at checkout alongside card and net banking, and lazy-loading product images that deliver sub-3-second first meaningful paint on 4G connections. Google's mobile-first indexing means this mobile performance directly determines your search rankings — not your desktop performance.
